HJGA New Golfer Junior Program at Hershey Links

Reintroducing the HJGA New Golfer Junior Program! This program is taught by two of the area’s top golf instructors, including one of Golf Digest’s Top 40 Under 40, Andrew Dawes. Learning will include full swing, short game and golf fitness. This program will focus on the building blocks and fundamentals of a great golf game.

Please note: The start of the new golfer junior program one at Hershey Links has been postponed due to weather and conditions. The first class will begin on Saturday, April 27. See below for current dates.

Special at Spring Creek: During the program, your junior golfer will be able to play nine holes at Spring Creek for only $5.00. Spring Creek will have a master program list with enrolled juniors' names beginning Saturday, April 27th.

Week 1: Swing, Swing, Swing – Using your irons to get the ball in the air and on the green.
Week 2: The Hole is the GOAL! – The excitement of rolling the ball into the hole.
Week 3: Driving School – Swinging your driver and other ‘big’ clubs to hit the long shots.
Week 4: Getting it Close – Chipping, pitching and other shots from short distances.
Week 5: Ready, Set… Go Golf! – Linking what you’ve learned to play a few holes.

2013 HJGA Summer Golf Program

Introducing, the HJGA Summer Golf Program! This program is for two weeks and includes six hours of intensive golf instruction and two optional play days at Spring Creek Golf Course. Instruction will cover everything from driving to putting including rules of the game, golf course etiquette, keeping score and above all, honesty and integrity. Two different programs are available. The play days are optional.
